Early dreaded workouts

The best workout is the earliest one, and the one I dread the most. Its too cold, and recovery time takes too long. But 5-10 min is enough. I find that it gives me great results and goes a long way. So I started going up a 4 story building climbing the stairs in one step intervals. I do that twice, then repeat the same with a three step interval; it feels like an angled lunge.
